Joel Bentley, CPA, JP, Registered Tax Agent

Joel Bentley is the principal of SJB Accounting Services. He has had over 30 years experience in accounting as a sole practitioner in Australia and abroad. Joel is a Registered Tax Agent and a Professional Accountant (a long time member of CPA Australia). He attends regular CPA seminars and discussion groups, and is a mentor for several SJB employees (accountants enrolled in the CPA Mentorship program, including his daughter, Dorin). As a member of CPA Australia, Joel Bentley has access to the latest news, legislative changes, and other accounting and tax related matters, through continued professional development.

Samuel Bentley, CPA, Registered Tax Agent

Samuel has been working with Joel on a full-time basis, since he completed his degree in 2002, having already had several years of part-time experience in the firm. Under Joel's mentorship, Samuel obtained his Professional Accountant status (CPA). Samuel is also a Registered Tax Agent.

Dorin Bentley, CPA, Registered Tax Agent

Dorin has been working with Joel since 2004, and under Joel's mentorship, Dorin is now a CPA and registered tax agent. As well as consulting with clients about business and tax related matters, Dorin is responsible for the recruitment and training of all new accounting staff.

Betty Lu, CPA

Betty is our senior accountant, and has been a Professional Accountant (CPA) for several years. She has had many years of experience in our firm, and manages the tasks of other accounting staff.
